Today our little Kimball was baptized. It was so peaceful and wonderful to see my boy be led down into the water by his dad. When Stephan raised his arm to the square and said the baptismal prayer it was so powerful, a moment I will never forget. Kimball bowed his head, and then after the prayer, plugged his nose and went under the water. He came out with a big smile on his face, and I wrapped him in a cozy white towel. I asked him how he felt, and he said, "really good!" I put my foot in the water just to see how cold it was and it was freezing! I am so grateful this was such a special day for him. He knows the reasons for getting baptized and wants to do his best to follow the Savior. Oma gave a lovely talk on baptism, Uncle Eddy gave a wonderful talk on the Holy Ghost, Anna and Opa played the closing song "Baptism" on violin and guitar, and then we ate sandwiches and squares. A few families from our branch were there as well, and we were so grateful for their support.
This one was taken moments before Stephan baptized him.
Beautiful photos, Som.
