Day 116

This hardly ever happens...all 3 children doing their homework peacefully together at the kitchen table, thought I'd get a pic of it!

Day 115

Our dear friends and neighbours the Robinson family allowed me take their family photos today. This is one of my favourites of Camryn! She loved dressing up!

Day 114

We had Anna's spa birthday party today! Ten little nine year old girls...it was the funnest birthday party I have ever been to! Anna and her friends had a blast! We started out by doing pedicures, then cucumber masks, had pink lemonade with a slice of lime, they had menus and place cards and had a spontaneous dance party in the living room! Such a fun time!

Day 113

Okay, so I promise this will be the last "spring is awesome so here are pictures of all the flowers I see" photo...for this week. Aren't my daffodils beautiful? I really marvel at the miracle of perennials, the fact that they go dormant for 3 seasons, and then blossom each year in the spring, bringing a sense of new beginnings, of the earth coming back to life. Just wait until my tupips come up!

Day 112

I love having potted flowers on my porch. I purposely put these out for curb appeal. I love the colors and the refreshing feeling flowers bring!

Day 111

It was so warm today! The kids went and put on their bathing suits and brought out a huge bowl of water so they could fill up their new water squirters. They knew I was taking their picture so they tried to make cool water designs!

Day 110

Today we went and bought some little purple pansies...Anna and Norah planted them together. There is something so refreshing about spring, and flowers!

Day 109

We enjowed a lovely sunshiney day going hiking to Barron Canyon, and then going to the library park. These photos were taken by Auntie Lowee. Fun is always had by all when Mack and Aunt Low are around.

Day 108

We took Aunt Laurie, Uncle Fran, and Mackenzie to Millenium Trail after church. The kids loved taking off their shoes and putting their feet in the water.

Day 107

We went out to Chutes Coulonge and the kids went on the mini course. It was raining.

Day 106

Auntie Lowee, Uncle Fran, and Mackenzie came to our home for the weekend to visit. They each brought one big with them. Can you guess which bag is Aunt Laurie's?

Day 105

Our home is officially for sale! We have been posted to Nova Scotia!

Day 104

Happy Birthday to my 9 year old daughter!

Day 103

Staging my closet is fun to do, fun to do, to do, to do....

Day 102

We had some family friends over for Anna's birthday dinner...

Day 101

We have asked the children to make their own lunches from now on...this is Sam the man making his sandwich!!

Day 100!!

The branch talent night! Kimball played The Birch Canoe, Sam and Dad played a duet, the Bear, Anna played Devil's Dream and The COuntry Waltz on violin (I am so sad, I only videotaped it!) and I swam with my team!

Day 99

So apparently I forgot to take a picture today and so I found this one from the trip when we were staying at the Marriott in St. George. I don't even know what time it is, all I know is that we hardly got any sleep, and we were, to quote Heidi, "half delirious"

Day 98

Making chocolate chip cookies with my Sam the man!

Day 97

Her favourite book, favourite dolly, and one of her favourite people...

Day 96

Okay so there were a lot of photos that I didn't post from my trip to Utah so here is another glimpse of the fun:
having frozen yogurt at spoon me in Provo

Heidi says "just go over there and look, it's really cool" so we go, and end up hiking for a half hour when it then dawns on us that we went to the wrong place! Heidi came looking for us and we all had a good laugh at Lisa's hiking shoes! We thought we'd be going to look at a little stream or something! Not hiking up a cliff!

On another day, Friday I think, we met the Elizabeth and Caren Wood for frozen yogurt at Farr's! So fun! It was wonderful to see them again!

Day 95

I'm home!! The easter bunny waited for me to come home and we had the hunt this morning! This was the first time Norah has ever hunted for eggs and loved it. The older 3 got their own hymn books, the boys got a CTR tie and the girls got easter dresses. So emotionally overwhelming to come home to the hugs I had missed for so long. So grateful to be loved and have a family to give my love to!

Day 94

Okay I know I am cheating because this picture was taken yesterday. Heidi and I had just dropped Lisa off at the airport and came back to stroll around temple square. It was heavenly. I flew back today, got up at 4am to catch a 7 am flight back to Syracuse. Bless her soul, Heidi drove me to the airport in wretched conditions and had to help people on the way home because there were so many accidents!

Day 93

This is us at the Saturday morning session of General Conference!! What a wonderful feeling in the that building. We had just gone through crazy town just to get there though! Heidi realized she had locked the keys in the van and then we realized that our conference tickets were still in the vehicle!! All worked out in the end...

Day 92

This is me meeting a palm tree for the time in my life! We stayed at the Marriott, and Lisa and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub, we were so pumped that we got the room for so cheap, thanks to a military discount! The breakfast buffet was amazing; the best breakfast I have ever had, and little Colling was very sick throughout the night which made for very giddy girls in the morning!

Day 91

After we were done hiking, we stopped to see the beautiful St. George temple.

Day 90

We made it! We are at Zion's and we hiked the Emerald Pools. The funny thing was that Heidi pulled over and told us to check out a cool spot while she found a parking spot. We just kept walking and looking for where she was talking about, needless to say, we ended up hiking up this 2km trail, and she meant for us to just peek over the side of road! We weren't even in our hiking gear yet, poor Lisa had ballerina shoes on! It was so funny! Heidi had to come and find us (by which time we had already realized our blunder and were heading back!)

Day 89

Along the way to Zion's national park, we came across this itty bitty town with a photography school and a very wonderful truck in front of it!

And, as if that wasn't enough, there was an antique gas pump across the street, what was the name of that town in the Cars movie? Cause that's where we were...

Day 88

We took Heidi and Scott's family out to a barn and took their family photos...

Day 87

Heidi turned 33 today!

Lisa, Heidi, and me at Heidi's birthday party

Day 86

Oh my goodness! The last day of the workshop! So much fun, we got to practise on some models, do they ever make taking pictures easy! They were so beautiful!
