Day 85

We stayed at the Mills home while in Salt Lake and they were so nice. This wooden carving is on their bookcase, love it.

day 84

Day 1 of the Nichole V photography workshop, this is the tin she gave us with all of our goodies inside. She thought of every little detail. And I love these jelly beans.

Day 83

This is a photo of my children saying goodbye to their mother because I am leaving on a 10 day trip to Utah to go see my two best friends Heidi and Lisa! It is 7am and I will be driving to Syracuse and fly out from there.

Day 82

Anna made Norah this hat! I added the pom pom and braids at the sides!

Day 81

Well, as if this is not utterly adorable that she put her daddy's shoes on...

Day 80

Kimball literally made waffles this morning! This boy sure loves to cook! He was so excited when I showed him the Aunt Jemima mix (just add water)

Day 79

We went to the sugar bush to see how maple syrup is made with the Popke family.

Day 78

Anna is our little gardener. She is starting some flowers seedlings and takes great care in the details.

Day 77

Spring has sprung and Miss Norah's raincoat is RED RED RED! She had her rainboots on and was exploring outside. Sam and Anna were "planting" flowers and I had to laugh at Anna's getup!

Day 76 St. Patrick's Day

Even though I was really tired from the trip the kids really wanted to have a green party, so...we did. This is a pitiful picture cause everyone's squinting but it captures the greenness of the festivities...we had ice cream with green kool-aid, hunted for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (chocolate) and Kimball made up a scavenger hunt.

Day 75

This is a camel at the Toronto Zoo!

Day 74

Wow! BUSY day, we went to the ROM, and the Science Centre. The Sorting Hat was the star of the day...so fun!

Day 73

We went to the CN tower today. There is a glass floor at the top that Norah and Sam worked up the courage to stand on, it is very very high indeed.

Day 72

We went to Casa Loma, very beautiful and fun! There was a Robin Hood play and a ventriliquist. Kimball was chosen from the audience to go onstage for both of them!

Day 71

Travelling to Toronto for our little family holiday...

Day 70

We went to go watch Kimball's little play en Francais. He was the King. It was so fun hearing him speak in french. I am determined to learn it myself.

Day 69

This is my bedside table, my lamp, and the books that are on my bedside table...before I was married I dreamed of one day having a cozy room with matching bedside tables and lamps and wonderful books to read on them. I love reading with Stephan. There is something gezelig about both of us reading at night after a busy day.

Day 68

I had to put both of these photos up of our evening together...Anna wanted a bite of Kimball's ice cream, so he put some on a spoon and offered it to her, then quickly pulled away, I caught her reaction in the photo...the next photo is of Sam and his dad playing their duets together. I've probably said it before but this is the happiest time of the day for Sam when him and Stephan are spending time together...just him and his dad.

Day 67

Stephan made paper airplanes for the kids and they decorated them. They wanted to see whose plane would fly the farthest...then we had long jump competitions on the driveway. I wanted to catch them in action. I love the look on all their faces!

Day 66

Kimball gave the lesson in Family Home Evening tonight. We played a game called the Forever Family Team. It gives a list of choices for being on a happy family team, or the sad team. I love having family home evening. One of my favourite parts is singing with the children. I never fail to feel the spirit while we're singing together as a family. Sam even does solos (I Know That My Savior Loves Me) and they love to sing "Love Is Spoken Here" together. I am so grateful that singing a hymn or primary song each night when we do our devotional is something that has become a family tradition.

Day 65

We travelled to Ottawa with the Achievement Day girls for the Stake Girls Day activity. It was so wonderful to be with them. They make me feel so young! Karin, Michaela, me, Anna, Danielle, Sarah, and Jacqueline all travelled at 8 am to get there for 10am. I absolutely love my daughter's laugh! It is so contagious and never fails to get me laughing too!

Day 64

Spring is almost here and we have our driveway back! We broke out the sidewalk chalk and this is my rendering of the "stick family Wolfs"

Day 63

Norah and Sam decided to build a fort and little sister wants to do everything that big brother does. She makes this silly face all the time because she knowe it will get the kids to laugh.

Day 62

We made sushi tonight and discovered that Anna LOVES it! She even asked if she could take some for her lunch tomorrow.

Day 61

How could I do anything but laugh and grab my camera?! I guess she hadn't had enough breakfast? This is what happens when you leave a 21 month old toddler alone for 5 minutes...
but then I dressed her up and made playdough with her and had a wonderful morning!

Day 60

Our primary sang at the Kiwanis music festival tonight. It was a wonderful experience. I had never conducted a choir that has performed outside of the church before, and I loved it. They sang so beautifully.

Day 60

WE WON!!!!!!

Day 58

Anna and Kimball were tres excited to have a pajama party and watch Harry Potter (they just reached their goal of finishing the 3rd book) We had bertie bott's every flavored beans, chocolate, the antidote for a dementor attack, and of cours, popcorn.
